Don't Get Touched
Players: 1+
Object: Don't get touched by the ball.
Materials: balls. Works with one or as many as you want.
Place the balls on the tramp and jump around being sure that a ball doesn't touch you. You can assign yourself a number of lives, and if you get touched that amount you lose.
Dodge Ball
Players: 3+
Object: Get and stay on the trampoline.
Materials: a soft ball
This is the first game I learned, and it is one of the most widely played. Up to 3 people go on the tramp. The rest stay on the ground. The people on the ground have a ball which they throw at the people on the tramp. If a person on the tramp is hit. That person and the person who threw the ball switch places. I often play with a rule called: "one-timers" or "passes". This means that if Joe passes the ball to Tim and Tim hits Susan, who is on the tramp. Susan and Joe switch places. You can also play this game quite effectively and fun, using a small inner tube, instead of a ball.
Guard
Players: 3+
Object: Get and stay on the trampoline.
Materials: a ball
This works like dodge ball but only 2 people go on the tramp, and only one of them may be hit. The other person on the tramp is the guard. The guards’ job is to protect the other player on the tramp from being hit by getting in front of the ball. If the person being guarded is hit.
Hunting
Players: 3 or more
Object: get and stay on the tramp.
Materials: a ball
1 or 2 people go on the tramp. The rest stay off. If someone on the tramp is hit on the head, stomach, or back. The thrower and the hit trade places. If the people on the tramp are hit on one of their arms or legs, they lose the use of that limb.
Deflection Dodgeball
Players: 4+
Object: Get and stay on the trampoline.
Materials: a soft ball
This is Dodgeball with an added element. Deflections are allowed by people on the tramp. 2 players start on the tramp and the other ones are around the tramp on the ground. Players on the ground throw the ball at the people on the tramp. If someone on the tramp gets hit; the thrower and the hit trade places. In Deflection Dodgeball, the people on the tramp are allowed to touch the ball with both arms, below the elbow; (the fore arm and the hand.) (They are not allowed to hold the ball though.) If they are hit here they do not have to trade places. So the people on the tramp can deflect the ball away from themselves, or into another player, using their hands. Also if there is a deflection and someone on the tramp is hit... then the last person on the ground who touched the ball will switch places with the person who has been hit.
